Advocacy
“Advocacy is persuasion. In our context, it is the pursuit of influencing public policy and resource allocation decisions within political, economic social institutions.”

Wherever change is needed, advocacy has a role to play. Working definitions of advocacy:

"support or argument for an issue, cause or policy."

"Advocacy is an action directed at change. It is putting a problem on the agenda, providing a solution to that problem, building support for that solution and for the action necessary to implement that solution."
